A Bit About Me

Hey friends, my name is Jess! I am a military wife, dog and horse mom, former college athlete, and lover of all things health and fitness. I am certified in personal training, nutrition, and group exercise. Also, I have my bachelors degree in Kinesiology.
I grew up in a small town in California where I played every sport I could get my hands on! Eventually I made it to college where I was blessed with the opportunity to play soccer! With that being said, living on my own for the first time, eating in a cafeteria, and having a strong desire to be social led me to gaining the classic "freshman 15"(15lbs) despite how extremely active I was playing soccer! After my freshman year, I knew some changes had to be made and this is when I begin to immerse myself with research about all things health and fitness! At this time I also met my now husband and we began to grow our knowledge about health and fitness and create healthy habits together! Through this I lost 25lbs, gained a healthy relationship with food, got rid of an injury I was battling, and ultimately fell in love with learning more and growing in my fitness journey.

I have always had a strong passion to help others and have also loved fitness and exercise for as long as I can remember. Now, I can not think of anything more fitting than to share my knowledge, love, and experiences to help other reach their goals, create a healthy lifestyle, and become their most confident, strong, and happiest versions of themselves!
